Akralux Onda System: Overview

UV protected polycarbonate multi-wall corrugated sheets.

Akralux Onda is particularly suitable as a translucent roofing and cladding material. It is also used to create in plane rooflights for industrial, commercial and agricultural buildings where there is a roof pitch of 4° or greater. There are several profiles sizes available to match the most common fibre cement sheets on the market.

The corrugated profile gives high rigidity and load bearing capacity to the system. The sheets overlap tightly removing the need for any gaskets, sealants or mastics making installation easy and quick.

Akralux Onda sheets can be supplied curved to order for specific barrel vault applications.

Akralux Greca System: Overview

UV protected polycarbonate multi-wall profiled sheets

Akralux Greca is particularly suited as a translucent roofing and cladding material for industrial, commercial or agricultural buildings. For roofing applications, the roof pitch should be 4° or greater. The sheets are compatible with most types of roofing and cladding sandwich panels.

The profile shape of the sheets gives the product excellent rigidity and high load bearing capacity relative to the sheets thickness. The UV protection on the external side of the sheet gives excellent long-term durability and light diffusion.

The sheets overlap tightly removing the need for any gaskets, sealants or mastics making installation easy and quick.

Akralux Greca sheets can be supplied curved to order for specific barrel vault or domed rooflight applications.

Akralux Panel System: Overview

UV protected polycarbonate multi-wall roof panels

Akralux Panel is a range of flat panels in multi-wall polycarbonate with profiled side wings to allow installation by way of overlapping to a sandwich panel system or profiled metal sheets.

The system is particularly suitable for creating in plane roof lights or daylighting panels in roofs for industrial and commercial buildings, warehouses, sports buildings etc. The system offers good thermal performance, light transmission and strength/spanning capabilities.

The multi-wall structure and the different panel thicknesses (25, 30 and 40 mm) give excellent rigidity. The UV protection on the external side of the panels gives excellent long-term durability and light diffusion.

The panel wings overlap the sandwich panel or profiled metal sheets and are fixed using the supplied screws, washers and gaskets which allows for a highly secure fast installation. Akralux Panels with nonstandard wing sizes and shapes can be manufactured to order for installation on sandwich panel and profiled metal sheet roofs which are not standard sizes.

For roofing applications a minimum roof pitch of 4° is recommended.

Akralux Minicel

Akralux Minicel: Overview

UV protected polycarbonate corrugated and profiled mini cellular sheets

Akralux Minicel is a range of 3mm cellular polycarbonate sheets with 11 different profiles. The system is an ideal solution for in plane rooflights on industrial and commercial buildings where rooflights and daylight panels are required without kerbs or upstands.

The profile shape of the sheets gives excellent rigidity and high load bearing capacity relative to the sheets thickness.  The UV protection on the external side of the sheet mean they have long-term durability and light diffusion performance.

The sheets overlap tightly removing the need for any gaskets, sealants or mastics making installation easy and quick.

Akralux Minicel offers improved thermal performance over single skin products reducing the risk of condensation forming on to underside of the product. This is important for buildings which are unheated such as warehouses, stores, agricultural buildings etc.

Akralux Minicel sheets are designed to be compatible with the majority of sandwich panel profiles and metal sheet profiles generally available on the market.

For roofing applications a minimum roof pitch of 4° is recommended.

Akralux Compact solid single-wall sheets are available in various profiles. They are ideally suited for roofs and walls on non-habitable domestic buildings and some industrial and commercial buildings.

The Akralux Compact range consists of several different profiles which gives the sheets excellent rigidity and high load bearing capacity relative to the sheets thickness. The UV protection on the external side of the sheet gives excellent long-term durability and light diffusion.
